The City of Big Spring is accepting bids for the annual purchase of Polymer. There will be NO conference. No Facsimiles or late arrivals will be accepted. Any bids received after offer submission due date and time will not be opened and will be returned. City of Big Spring Purchasing Department time stamp clock will be the governing time for acceptability of bids. Overnight mail must also be properly labeled on the outside of the express envelope or package in reference to RFB. : Offers submitted shall remain firm for a period of 60 calendar days from the final due date for bids. Projected consumption for fiscal year 2024-2025, based on past annual averages, is forty thousand (40,000) pounds. Prices quoted shall remain firm for a period of twelve (12) calendar months following mutual acceptance of a contract between buyer and seller. The term of the contract will be from October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2025. Polymer shall be delivered in fifty-five (55) gallon plastic or metal drums (450 to 465 pounds per drum) to the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Wastewater Treatment Plant does not have a loading dock facility and has limited material handling equipment, therefore, it is required that the delivery truck be equipped with a lift gate to facilitate unloading of the product.
