The work consists of spring planting of approximately 330,000 seedlings on approximately 19 blocks over 200 hectares. The start of the season will be weather dependant but usually starts in mid April and ends June 21, 2025. There will likely be an early start and then a break to wait for the snow to melt on the remaining blocks. Bid according to accommodate multi shipments and a time gap in planting. The work is within the Selkirk Resource District; locations will range from Slocan, Rossland, Castlegar, Salmo and surrounding areas. All contract related questions must be submitted in writing ONLY to the following email address: Forests.KootenayTimberSalesOffice@gov.bc.ca. Deadline for receiving questions is 12:00 pm on September 10, 2024. If questions are received, a Question & Answer document will be posted to online by 4:00 pm September 11, 2024. If your bid deposit is in the form of cash, money order, certified cheque or bank draft, you will not be able to e-bid. See allowable submission delivery method(s) above. Also see Conditions of Tender for acceptable bid securities. The lowest priced or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. Estimated Contract Duration (3 months)
