Renovation of a laboratory facility in Beltsville, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
This contract is to replace the original Guard Booth utilized by laboratory security at the National Laboratory Center in Beltsville MD. The existing Guard Booth has reached its life expectancy and is beyond reasonable repair. The National Laboratory Center has one entrance that utilizes the Guard Booth and serves as the first line of defense to keep the ATF staff, patrons and assets safeguarded. The booth is manned 24 hours and day, 365 days a year. The booth provides ballistic protections as well as creature comforts such as warmth and cooling via a mini split HVAC system while sheltering the guards from the outside elements. The booth is also equipped with a firearms and locking stand, first aid, phone, data and controls for the front gate and emergency barricade ramps. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE The place of performance is the National Laboratory Center 6000 Ammendale Road, Beltsville Md. 20705. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE All work, including final cleanup and completion of any punch list items, shall be performed within three hundred and sixtyfive (365) calendar days after the date of receipt of notice to proceed. Pre-Proposal Inquiries (RFI's) Submit inquiries, questions electronically to the Government's Point of Contact (POC). All requests for information or clarification must be submitted via email to the Contract Specialist at lamark.combs@atf.gov and Contracting Officer at catalin.parfenti@atf.gov, by August 21, 2024, at 3:00 PM ET. Date, Time & Place of Submission Proposal due date is August 26, 2024, by 3:00 PM ET, as prescribed in Box 13 of Standard Form 1442, and must be submitted via email to the Contract Specialist at lamark.combs@atf.gov and Contracting Officer at catalin.parfenti@atf.gov. The Contractor shall begin performance within 15 calendar days and complete it within 365 calendar days. Site visits may be arranged during normal duty hours by contacting: Name: Glenville L.
