The project generally consists of improvements to the Airport Operations Area (AOA) vehicle service roadway network and the overall project is organized into 2 schedules of work. Schedule 'A' is associated with the extension of the existing Airport Operations Area (AOA) vehicle service road from the current terminal area apron to the new terminal area apron. The proposed extension is estimated at 6,000 feet in length and will have a 20-foot width to match the existing roadway width. The project scope for Schedule 'A' generally consists of grading and drainage improvements, bituminous pavement construction, and associated erosion control measures. Schedule 'B' is associated with the rehabilitation of the existing Airport Operations Area (AOA) vehicle service road from the current terminal area apron to the current general aviation area apron. The mainline portion of the existing roadway to be improved is estimated at 6,500 feet in length and has a width of 20 feet. The project scope for Schedule 'B' generally consists of selective milling, isolated full-depth pavement repair, and bituminous overlay, as well as associated grading and drainage improvements, pavement marking, and erosion control measures.
