Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The improvements consist of removal of existing concrete sidewalk, concrete curb and gutter, concrete and asphalt pavement, storm sewer piping and structures, sanitary sewer piping and structures, and reinforced concrete box culverts, construction of a new 10 x 4 concrete box culvert on Lisa Drive, a new 12 x concrete box culvert on Melrose Avenue, a new 12 x 5 concrete box culvert on Glenridge Drive, a new 12 x 6 concrete box culvert on Westwood Drive, a new 14 x 6 concrete box culvert on Perryville Road, installation of storm sewer and sanitary sewer improvements, site restoration. All questions concerning the project shall be submitted in writing to the City of Cape Girardeau to Chris Walter, cwalter@cityofcape.org, by September 11, 2024 at noon, local time. A certified or cashiers check, or bid bond executed by the bidder and an approved Surety Company, in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid shall be submitted with each Proposal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation the rights to reject any or all non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that Bidder,
