Law Enforcement Training Center Renovation. On-Site work hours will be 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract Scope of Work This project is for the renovation of existing Resource Connection buildings 1500 and a portion of 5051 to create the new Law Enforcement Training Center and SWAT storage, respectively. The work of the project is defined by the contract documents and consists of selective demolition and new construction for the new Tarrant County Law Enforcement Training Center required to convert existing Building 1500 (41,700 square foot, 1 story), to accommodate the Law Enforcement Training Center and includes renovation of existing Building 5051 for SWAT vehicle storage and personnel. Renovation and new construction shall include "infill" of existing building insets (2,500 square feet), provide aesthetic improvement of the existing building exterior, and renovation of approximately 1,860 square feet of building 5051 as indicated on the drawings, located in Tarrant County, Texas. Work includes new utilities, new civil paving and landscaping. Structural modifications include new structural steel framing and concrete slab for building infill. New building enclosure openings are brick and stone masonry, and composite metal panels. New openings include aluminum windows, storefront, curtain wall, aluminum doors and frames, plastic laminate clad solid core wood doors, and glazing. Interior finishes are metal stud framing and drywall, ceramic tile, resilient flooring, wall base, terrazzo, acoustic ceiling grid and panels, acoustic wood plank ceiling, and painting. New systems are MEP and Fire Protection, A/V, security cameras and card readers.
