The City of Midland is seeking a contractor to provide grading, installation of new concrete ADA Parking area, and new asphalt entrance area at the RedCoats Softball Complex. A. SCOPE OF WORK: The successful bidder shall furnish, deliver, and install new asphalt entrance area, concrete ADA parking area, line striping, accessible parking signage, accessible swing gate, and wheel stops. B. GENERAL NOTES: i. All existing structures that are to remain, shall be protected and preserved throughout construction. ii. All paved areas will surface drain storm water into existing vegetated areas. iii. All site work, materials workmanship and installation shall be per Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) most current edition for standard specifications and plans. iv. Contractor is responsible for site staking and finished grades. v. Contractor is responsible for contacting Miss Dig prior to construction commencement. vi. Remove all concrete washouts from site. Do not bury onsite. vii. Concrete paving joints shall be constructed per plan. viii. Where written specifications are not provided, all construction shall meet or exceed the latest version of MDOT or City of Midland specifications as noted on the plans and details.
