Elizabeth Street 24-Inch Transmission Main Improvements (Calhoun Street to Chapel Street) REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) The Commissioners of Public Works of the City of Charleston, South Carolina d/b/a Charleston Water System (CWS or Owner) is requesting interested Contractors complete and submit an Application for Prequalification for providing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for construction of the Elizabeth Street 24-inch Transmission Main Improvements (Calhoun Street to Chapel Street) Project on Elizabeth Street in downtown Charleston, SC between Calhoun and Chapel streets. The Work to be performed consists of the replacement of approximately 67 linear feet of 24-inch cast iron pipe with new zinc coated ductile iron pipe and 35 linear feet of 8-inch C900 PVC pipe, 20 linear feet of 30-inch steel casing by open-cut, an 8-inch tie-in, installation of two conflict manholes, temporary bypassing as required, and all associated appurtenances. Neither the Owner nor Engineer has any responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or sufficiency of the Application, including any Addenda, obtained from any other source.
