Site work for a water / sewer project in Price, Utah. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Location and Description: Two locations are proposed for restoration efforts. The first site is Bob Wright Creek from Benches Road upstream .5 miles. The second site is Second Water Creek from Benches Road upstream .5 miles. Background Our goal is to restore mountain riverine ecosystems to a more natural and dynamic state and recover self-sustaining populations of native cutthroat trout. This project is focused on improving the riparian and instream habitat in the Gordon Creek Watershed using beaver dam analogs (BDA) structures, beaver re-introduction, wood additions, and planting native vegetation. The purpose of this contract is to hire a restoration company that specializes in stream restoration, with an emphasis on using BDA's and wood additions to implement the BDA portion of the larger project as described. Division of Wildlife Resources is seeking a vendor to install beaver dam analogs and post-assisted log structures on Second Water and Bob Wright Creeks located 19-22 miles west of Price Utah. Project Performance Time: The contractor crew will be working closely with DWR during the Summer/Fall of 2024 and must be completed by Oct 31, 2024, for completion of this work; therefore, it is critical that the hired crew is able to work within this timeframe.
