Site work and paving for a civil project in Carefree, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The proposed work is located in the Town of Carefree, Arizona in both travel directions on 1) Tom Darlington Road between Leisure Lane and Cave Creek Road, 2) Cave Creek Road between Carefree Highway and a perpendicular line 300' north of the center of the Canyon Ridge Dr. intersection (town limit), and 3) Cave Creek Road between Scopa Trail and Carefree Drive. The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials and waste disposal to accomplish the following: Overview: Raise and reset conflicting manholes, caps and drains. 2 1/2 " asphalt Mill and Overlay including travel lanes, shoulders, turn lanes and any other existing asphalt. Remove and dispose of millings. Replace all striping, reflectors and other lane delineators. Additionally, on 4) Branding Iron Road between Golden Spur Lane and the end of pavement to the east (865 linear feet), in both travel directions and 5) Grapevine Road between 33d50'26.10"N, 111d55'26.85W and 33d50'32.33"N, 111d55'04.75"W (2000 linear feet). Overview: Remove existing 3" chip seal to native. Remove and dispose of waste. Place and compact 6" asphalt base course. Apply 3" course of asphalt. All work shall comply with the specifications set forth in Parts 300 and 700 of the 2024 revision to the 2020 edition of the Uniform Standard Specifications and Details for Public Works Construction as issued by the Maricopa Association of Governments. The Town will not be responsible for oral instructions or information. In the event questions are received less than four (4) days before the bid opening, a determination will be made by the Town concerning the sending of a written addendum, which may result in the establishment of a new bid opening date.
