This project is generally descibed as the rehabilitation of lift stations 20, 58 & 65 for the replacement of pumps, motors, control panels, and associated work. Description: The work covered by this specification consists of the application of a high-build epoxy coating system to concrete utility structures such as manholes, lift station wet wells, junction boxes or other concrete facilities that may need protection from corrosive materials. This covers rehabilitation of existing sanitary sewer structures and newly installed sanitary sewer structures. The structural epoxy system must provide a single coat, 100% solids, solvent free, monolithic coating without the need for a primer or underlayment. The epoxy system will also provide corrosion and abrasion protection while also eliminating inflow and infiltration, exfiltration, and increasing structural integrity.
