This project generally consists of providing chemicals for water and wastewater treatment. The City of Weatherford is seeking bids on certain chemicals for treatment of drinking water at the Dr. Paul Phillips Water Purification Plant, and for treatment of wastewater at the City of Weatherford Water Reclamation Facility. All bids for chemicals need to be stated in volumes as provided in the bid form and purity, or concentration. All chemicals must be NSF approved. A copy of the certification form, product specification sheet, and the SDS, need to accompany the bids. Bidders are not required to bid on all chemicals listed; a "No Bid" entry on the chemicals that are not being bid on is acceptable. All bids are due back to the City of Weatherford as specified on the bid form. Delivery of chemicals: o All deliveries of chemicals for treatment of drinking water will be to the Dr. Paul Phillips Water Purification Plant and pump station. o All deliveries of chemicals for treatment of wastewater will be to the Water Reclamation Facility, located at 1327 Eureka Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086. All unit prices for chemicals bid shall be the total cost to the City of Weatherford for the use of the equipment during the fiscal year. If the supplier uses its own equipment for storage, pumping, or delivery of the chemical, that is in addition to the equipment presently on the Owners site, the supplier shall itemize such equipment and handling cost with the bid. Estimated yearly quantities are based on the best information available to the City of Weatherford at this time. Due to the variability in the treatment plant processes, actual quantities required during the fiscal year may be more, or less than estimated. The City's estimated quantities do not represent any guarantees. The City of Weatherford Municipal Utility Board reserves the sole right to accept or reject any bid for any reason determined to be in the best interest of the City of Weatherford.
