The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to
provide surface treatment to various routes located in Botetourt, Craig and Roanoke Counties in the Salem Residency's
area within the Salem District.
AWARD BASIS: Awards will be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, within a designated LOT.
The Bidder does not have to bid on all lots but must have the capacity to perform work on any lot(s) bid, regardless of
other contractual responsibilities to VDOT or elsewhere, within in the timeframe contained herein. Lots are requested to
be completed in numerical order if contractor is unable to perform simultaneously.
Lot 1 Rte. 617 CC Mountain - Craig County
Lot 2 Rte. 645 Fringer Trail - Botetourt County
Lot 3 Rte. 615 Webb Road - Roanoke County
TESTING AND INSPECTION: The Commonwealth reserves the right to conduct any test/inspection it may deem advisable to assure goods and services conform to the specifications.
