The current structure is a single lane bridge and is posted at 24,000 lbs for single unit vehicles and 43,000 lbs for combination vehicles. The new bridge would eliminate posting and provide a two lane bridge. This project is consistent with the Master Planning goal of maintaining a safe and adequate transportation system to serve existing and future populations.
