Dorsey Run Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant (AWWTP) - Lime Stabilization System Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) The Maryland Environmental Service (MES) is requesting sealed Bids from qualified contractors to furnish and deliver The Dorsey Run AWWTP is located at 7938 Brock Bridge Road, Jessup, Maryland 20794. The treatment plant is a 2 million gallon per day (MGD) design capacity facility that serves the State of Maryland Correctional Complex. MES owns and operates the facility, on behalf of the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. The AWWTP generates a treated biosolids by lime stabilizing the sludge solids produced at the plant. The resulting lime stabilized material is then recycled onto farmland in Virginia. The vendor shall remove the existing unit and install the new PLC in the same location as the existing panel. The existing wiring and conduit shall be connected to the new PLC. Field testing shall be performed by the vendor in the presence of the Project Manager and Operations staff to verify that the system controls all required equipment. The vendor shall provide AutoCAD and printed drawings of the PLC system to MES. Questions Due Date: Sep 16th 2024, 1:00 PM EDT Deadline to indicate your intent to Bid Sep 30th 2024, 1:00 PM EDT
