Renovation of a fire / police facility in Toledo, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

Station 21 Waterproofing Project Interior Work 1. Provide all necessary permits. 2. Protect all work areas and paths of travel. 3. Remove perimeter of concrete floor in basement at base of wall (per plan) for an approximate total of 260 lineal feet. Dispose of 100% of all debris. 4. Excavate down next to footing level and dispose of all debris. 5. Repair cracks in the concrete walls and foundation using epoxy injection. 6. Patch concrete walls with hydraulic cement. 10 SF 7. Install visqueen/polystyrene barrier at base of wall approximately 16" high to direct any water infiltration down into new drain tile. 8. Install a new 3" PVC perforated drain tile on interior next to footing over a bed of #6 drain stone with clean outs throughout. Tie new drain tiles into existing floor drains. 9. Cover new drain tiles 100% with #6 drain stone. 10. Cut concrete floor, install a new perforated plastic crocks in gravel with safety lid. 11. Replace concrete floor where serviced. 12. Install a new perforated plastic crock in gravel with safety lid. 13. Install a sump pump with battery backup and a discharge line to the new 6" drain tile. 14. Install a dedicated 20-amp circuit with GFI protection. 15. Install (1) Air Exchanger to interior of basement suitable for 2100 SF room. 16. Install a new power outlet for the Air Exchanger. 17. Clean up and haul away all debris. 18. Provide a 25-year warranty against leaks where waterproofing was installed. Exterior Work 1. Provide all necessary permits. 2. Protect all work areas and mark all utilities. 3. Locate existing 6" drain tile at connection to the 8" tile. 4. Install 6" SDR 35 PVC drain tile. Approximately 250 LF 5. Install 8" SDR 35 PVC drain tile and connect to existing 8" drain tile. Approximately 21 LF 6. Use wye fittings and 6" adaptors to connect 3"x4" downspouts to the drain tile. 11EA 7. Restore all disturbed areas maintaining positive drainage away from the building 8. Remove and replace 176 SF of 4" concrete walk. 9. Remove and replace 350 SF of 8" concrete driveway. 10. Perform a thorough clean up to the entire worksite upon completion. The City of Toledo Department of Fire and Rescue is soliciting bids for basement waterproofing improvements at Station 21 pursuant to the related RFQ, specifications, and similar docs. Please ensure bids factor in a project completion time of 70 days from date of issued purchase order and remain valid for no less than 60 days from bid due date. PLA will be required due to Ordinance. The bid guaranty shall be in the form of a cashier's check/official check on a solvent bank or a bid bond. If using a check as the bid guaranty, the check must be received by the Division of Purchases and Supplies no later than the due date and time to be deemed responsive. The check must also be scanned and uploaded with the e-bid. Company checks and personal checks will NOT be accepted. Prevailing Wages are required for this project. It is the obligation of a contractor or subcontractor to make payment in accordance with the prevailing wage determinations.
