Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in American Canyon, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Engineer Estimate: $210,000 LOCATION The project will be performed at the Napa-Vallejo Waste Management Authority's American Canyon Landfill and along Eucalyptus Drive, Wetlands Edge Road, Kensington Way, PG&E Easement between Kensington Way and Elliot Drive and Elliot Drive in the City of American Canyon, CA. The proposed project includes but is not limited to installation of a leachate line cleanouts, pressure testing, concrete curb and gutter replacement, concrete sidewalk replacement, moisture compaction of subgrade, and asphalt pavement replacement per the project Plans and Specifications. The scope of work shall include and not be limited to: o Mobilization o Construction Debris Area Setup and Disposal o Implementation of Erosion and Sediment Control Best Management Practices (BMP) o Construction Area Signs per CAMUTCD standards and as directed by the Engineer o Temporary Traffic Control per CAMUTCD standards as directed by the Engineer and approved by Authority o Leachate line cleanout installation o Minor concrete curb and gutter replacement o Minor concrete sidewalk replacement o Miscellaneous concrete replacement o Protecting existing utilities and utility covers in place o Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) Paving o Final cleanup and demobilization o Project Closeout the construction in accordance with the Plans and Special Provisions thereto, to which special reference is made as follows The Special Provisions require bidders to attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Bids from contractors not in attendance of the mandatory pre-bid meeting will not be considered. Bids are required for the entire work called for by the Plans and Specifications, and neither partial nor contingent bids will be considered. Bidders present at the mandatory pre-bid meeting are responsible for monitoring online addendums which may be issued up until 72 hours prior to bid opening. Complete sets of Contract Documents must be used in preparing Bids. The Authority does not assume responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Contract Documents. Bid results of the three apparent lowest bidders with their subcontractor's list will be on the website by the business day after the bids are publicly opened and read Pursuant to 1771.1 of the Labor Code, a contractor or subcontractor shall not be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, subject to the requirements of Section 4104 of the Public Contract Code, or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, as defined in this chapter, unless currently registered and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5. It is not a violation of this section for an unregistered contractor to submit a bid that is authorized by Section 7029.1 of the Business and Professions Code or by Section 10164 or 20103.5 of the Public Contract Code, provided the contractor is registered to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5 at the time the contract is awarded. Pursuant to Sections 1770, et. seq., of the California Labor Code, the contractor and all subcontractors shall pay not less than the prevailing rate of per diem wages as determined by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations. Copies of such prevailing rate of per diem wages are on file at the Napa County Department of Public Works where copies will be made available to any interested party on request. These rate determinations may also be found on the State of California Department of Industrial Relations' website at online. Contractors and subcontractors shall also submit certified payroll records, employ apprentices, and comply with working hour conditions as required by the Labor Code. No bid will be considered unless it is made on a blank form furnished with these bid specifications and is made in accordance with the provisions of the proposal requirements and conditions set forth under Section 2 of the 2018 Standard Specifications of the State California, Department of Transportation, except as modified by the Special Provisions. The Contractor shall possess a Class A license at the time of contract award. A bid guarantee in the amount of 10% of the total bid shall accompany the bid. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price and a Labor and Material Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price with good and sufficient surety. The Board of Directors of the Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
