Site work for a mixed-use development in Coldstream, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) is seeking qualified contractors to submit their qualifications for trail development services. The RDNO anticipates completing an estimated $1,000,000 of trail development-related work annually, subject to the Board of Directors annual budget approvals. Based on the evaluation of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ), the RDNO will establish a select contractor list. These select contractors will be invited to bid on trail development services projects during the subsequent 5-year term. The successful proponent must provide part or all of the services listed below. Services including, but not limited to: Construction of 1m wide nature trails Construction of 2-3m wide multi-use naturally surfaced trails Construction of 3m wide multi-use gravel surfaced trails Carpentry works, including pedestrian bridges, boardwalks, guardrails, and staircases Construction of retaining walls, cribbed steps, security gates and fencing Environmental permitting Park planning and trail design Construction of parking lots and access roads If you have any questions, please contact Andy Affleck, Manager Parks & Recreation at 250-306-4312 or by email at andy.affleck@rdno.ca prior to October 15, 2024
