Description The Virginia Department of Transportation is seeking expressions of interest from consulting engineering firms who wish to be considered to provide professional engineering services of work shall consist as necessary to support the Central Office Construction Division during design, procurement, construction, and post construction phases for activities and work packages produced and administered in accordance with the Construction Division functions. Personnel anticipated for this contract should be capable of performing: Plan review/constructability/biddability/value engineering Estimating Project advertisement, contractor pre-qualification, and bid analysis Contract documentation Construction, maintenance, and emergency contract administration Project controls/scheduling/NOI analysis/records review Specifications Construction data analysis Local assistance program management Construction Quality Improvement Program (CQIP) administration Design-Build contract administration Business applications support Environmental construction management and inspection Construction program administration and analysis Claims analysis Contract review Misc. administrative assistance Misc. in-house staff augmentation .
