for construction consisting of furnishing and installing the following:
o Asphalt pavement repair at 26 various locations consisting of approximately 670 tons of
asphalt pavement patching.
o Removal and replacement of approximately 250 tons of Asphalt Surface Course with
approximately 2850 square yards of milling.
o Approximately 22 utilities to chip around.
o Approximately 6 utility adjustments.
o Furnishing and placement of thermoplastic pavement markings In review of the bid, Vendors may have questions to clarify or interpret the bid to submit the best bid
possible. To accommodate the bid questions, Vendors shall submit any such questions by September 3,
2024 . The City will not entertain any further questions after the deadline. Send your questions via email
to Daniel.Callahan@raleighnc.gov with the bid number in the subject line of your email. The City
will answer all questions in addenda to the bid and post on the eVP website. No proposal will be considered or accepted unless at the time of its filing, the same shall be accompanied
by a cash deposit, cashier's check, or certified check on a bank or trust company insured by the FDIC and
authorized to do business in North Carolina in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal. In the
alternative, a five percent (5%) bid bond issued by a corporate surety licensed by the State of North Carolina
may be filed with the proposal. Bidders must be properly licensed under Chapter 87 of the General Statutes
of North Carolina and must comply with nondiscrimination provisions. The City is an equal opportunity
