Clarke County School District consists of fourteen (14) elementary schools, (4) four middle schools, (3) three high schools, (1) one preschool, and (1) one career academy. The project requires the upgrade of the existing Building Automation System constructed using a Niagara Java Application Control Engines (Jace). The upgraded BAS shall utilize a Niagara Framework Web Supervisor [or approved equivalent] to facilitate a seamless interface to all connected devices. The Contractor shall be required to perform the following: a. Furnish, install, configure, and commission a new Niagara N4 Web Supervisor [or approved equivalent] a customer provided sever using the existing network infrastructure to link all supervisory devices. b. Upgrade all existing Niagara AX (Jace) supervisory devices to Niagara N4 (Jace) supervisory devices. Existing field controllers will remain and must be integrated into the new BAS. License to include five (5)-year Service Maintenance Agreement ("SMA"). c. Graphics are to be built using freely available modules, no proprietary modules allowed. New graphics, summaries, floor plans, etc. should be developed as part of the upgrade to provide matching interfaces for all controllers regardless of model. d. Furnish and install all low voltage step-down transformers with associated low voltage connections, power supplies and power/communication/input/output cabling necessary for the control system. e. Furnish and install conduit, junction boxes, fittings, panels, enclosures, and hardware as specified in these specifications as required by Code. f. It is the contractor's responsibility to review the design documents, specifications, existing equipment, existing sequence, and report any discrepancies to the owner. The conference will be recorded, with the resulting recording becoming a part of the documentation for this solicitation. Any changes resulting from this conference will be issued in a written addendum to the solicitation. The CCSD reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any technicalities or irregularities, and to award the contract based on the highest and best interest of the CCSD. The results may be presented to the CCSD's Board of Education for action if deemed appropriate for submission. The contract, if awarded, will be on the basis stated in the Request for Proposal and Specification. No proposals may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. The Purchasing Department is the only office authorized to change, modify, clarify, etc., the specifications, terms, and conditions of this RFP and any contract(s) awarded as a result of this RFP. Failure to comply with the written requirements for this proposal may result in rejection of the proposal by the Clarke County School District.
