Renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility in Port Hope, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility.
Reference Number 00004193848 The Ministry is planning on replacing the existing fabric roof on the Material Storage Building at the Port Hope Patrol Yard with steel roofing system. The Contractor shall submit detailed plans for the construction of a new metal roofing system on an existing fabric covered salt storage building, measuring 160 feet long x 80 wide. The existing fabric shall be removed in such a way that minimal damaged is done, the removed fabric is to be properly disposed prior to completion of the work. The contract shall include the design and construction of the new steel roofing system on the existing Material Storage Building. The design is to consider the loading of salt and sand as well as snow, wind and other loading requirements as required. Bidders shall promptly examine all of the documents comprising this RFB and: (a) shall report any errors, omissions or ambiguities; and (b) may direct questions or seek additional information, through the OTP online messaging function on or before the Bidder's Deadline for Questions to the RFB Contact set out at Section 1.1 - Procurement Details of the Qualification Envelope of this RFB.
