Purpose of RFP The City seeks to award one Construction Manager ("CM") contract to support the City of New York in developing and implementing a Centralized Construction Mentor Program ("CCMP"). The CM would provide Program Development and Construction Management Services as further described in the Scope of Services section. The intent of this RFP is to obtain firm fixed price proposals from qualified Proposer(s) to provide CM services as outlined in Section III. Upon the evaluation committee's scoring of this RFP, Department of Citywide Administrative Services ("DCAS") Office of Citywide Procurement ("OCP") anticipates awarding one (1) Contract from this RFP. Anticipated Contract Term DCAS expects to award one (1) Contract from this RFP. It is anticipated that the term of the contract awarded from this RFP will be for one year, from November 1, 2024 to October 31, 2025. There will be an option to renew for one additional year at the sole discretion of the City. The City reserves the right, prior to registration of a Contract by the Comptroller of the City of New York ("Comptroller"), to change the start and end dates as noted above. The City further reserves the right to change these dates after Contract registration to reflect the actual Comptroller's registration date. Objective To ensure the success of the Mentoring Program, DCAS is seeking an appropriately qualified Construction Management (CM) firm that will apply its construction management and oversight experience to provide guidance to participants in the Mentoring Program in performance of the CCMP construction projects. In addition to the mentoring services, the selected CM will be required to provide all services necessary and required for the inspection, supervision, management, coordination, and administration of the Projects awarded to the CCMP participants, so that the required construction work is properly executed, completed in a timely fashion and conforms to the requirements of the construction contract and to good construction practice. The Projects may be located in any of the five New York City boroughs. DCAS intends to enter into a requirements contract with a single qualified CM firm that would provide Program Development and Construction Management Services as further described in the Scope of Services section.
