Project Description: This project involves renovating the first floor of a two-story dormitory building at the Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy Campus. The scope includes: Dorm room/corridor and common room finish upgrades; Electrical fixture upgrades; Existing door refurbishment and door hardware upgrades; Accessibility upgrades for designated accessible units; Exterior window replacement; Local mechanical unit replacement; Wall covering removal; and Built-in dormitory room and common room casework. Bidding questions shall be submitted on the online by 5:00 p.m. MT on September 10, 2024. All questions will be answered and provided to all prospective bidders via answers on the online or in the form of a written addendum posted on online by 3:00 p.m. MT on September 13, 2024. Questions received after 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time on September 10, 2024, will not be addressed. If a bid is greater than $150,000, each bid is required to have a bid deposit in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the total bid, which shall be in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check (a copy of a check will not be accepted) drawn on a reliable bank and made payable to the State of Wyoming (no personal checks will be accepted), or an electronic bid bond with Surety 2000. ONLY if you are submitting an original 10% bid bond or submitting a 10% cashier check, it MUST be received in the Procurement Office at: Wyoming State Construction Department, Procurement Office, 700 West 21st Street, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82002 A COPY OF THE 10% CASHIER CHECK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
