Renovation of an educational facility in Ada, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Renovation of an Existing portion of an existing building to repurpose to be a Work Ready Oklahoma 'WRO' Center. Work includes demolition, patching, and repair work as required to prepare existing to receive new construction. New construction includes selective demolition, metal stud framed walls, gypsum board ceilings and walls, hollow metal door and window frames, wood doors, overhead coiling door, acoustic lay-in ceiling, batt insulation, millwork and countertops, painting, flooring, mechanical, electrical and plumbing, complete and ready for use. Location: 601 West 33rd Street, Ada, Oklahoma Bidders must demonstrate qualifications to perform the work and submit qualifications, prior to contract award. Bidders must provide evidence of experience with projects of similar scope and complexity. Prospective bidders are required to conduct a site investigation prior to bidding to understand the work requirements and assess the current conditions of the project site. Bidders are to submit their bids in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bids will be opened publicly at the time and place indicated. The Owner will read aloud the name of each bidder and the amount of each bid. Bids are irrevocable for 45 days after the public bid opening date. Bids will be evaluated to determine the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The evaluation will consider the bid amount, bidder's qualifications, and compliance with the bidding requirements. The contract will be awarded to the bidder whose bid is determined to be in the best interest of the Owner. A successful bidder will be notified in writing of the contract award. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the Owner. Contractors may review bidding documents at the Owners or Architects Office, with advance notification, and an arranged time and date between parties.
