Questions received less that two (2) days prior to the date of bid opening might not be answered The Bidder, in compliance with the City's Advertisement for Bids and Instructions for Bidders for Rose Rd. W, Forest Rd SW, & Fern St SW Sewer Extension having examined the specifications, drawings, related documents, and the site of the proposed work, and being familiar with all of the conditions surrounding the work of the proposed project including the availability of material and labor, hereby proposes to furnish all labor, materials, tools, expendable equipment, affidavits of prevailing wages paid, utility and transportation services, and incidentals, necessary to perform the complete contract, in a workmanlike manner, and as required by and in strict conformance with the Standard Specifications, Special Provisions, Addenda and plans, all for the rates and lump sum prices listed below. These prices shall cover all expenses incurred in performing the work required under the contract documents, for which this bid is a part. All sales tax shall be included in the lump sum and unit prices within this bid. Under the section for Completion Time and Liquidated Damages, the number of working days that the contract work shall be completed, including correction, finish, and cleanup is revised from seventy-five (75) in the original proposal to one hundred (100) working days via this addendum. The liquidated damages will also be adjusted to reflect time in excess of one hundred (100) working days.
