Renovation of a municipal facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
3000 Minnehaha Avenue Building Improvements, all in accordance with project documents and specifications. PROJECT DESCRIPTION A. Project Scope: Project consists of, but is not limited to, the following: o Selective demolition of windows, doors, storefront, vestibule, damaged masonry, and miscellaneous facade, glazing, structural, and interior elements. o New windows (curtainwalls) and doors. o New door hardware, where indicated. o Replacement of fiberglass insulated translucent skylight and wall panels. o Repairs to exterior wall(s). o Construction of a new vestibule. Exterior wall will be an insulated brick cavity wall with steel stud (CFS) backup. The roof will be fully adhered thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) membrane roof over and insulated steel deck. Structural members will be steel. o Replacement of interior glazing and/or storefront at elevator lobbies. o Replacement of a unit heater for the vestibule. o Rough-ins for access control. o Repairs to damaged tile at stair with grout. o Rigging, if needed. o Site/construction logistics, storage, staging, safety, temporary construction, temporary facilities, and security. B. Overall site supervision, project management, administration, and coordination of the Project will be the responsibility of the Prime Contractor.SCOPE A. The Prime Contractor shall supply all labor, materials, transportation, apparatus, and tools necessary for the entire proper completion of this Work: and shall install, maintain and remove all equipment for the proper execution of the Contract, and shall be responsible for the safe, proper and lawful performance of their equipment, maintenance use of the same, and shall perform in the best manner, and everything properly incidental thereto, as stated in the Contract Documents or reasonably implied therein.
