Site work and paving for a road / highway in Meadow Grove-Jefferson, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project is referred to as "Madison County Armor Coat, C-59(891)" and shall include all labor, materials, transportation and equipment required for the construction of: C-59(891) - approximately 3.3 miles of asphalt pulverization and armor coat surfacing, and other related incidental work. Along with its Bid Proposal, each bidder shall submit an unconditional Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the Madison County Treasurer, Madison County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the total Bid Proposal. Also, each bidder is to provide a Start of Construction date and End of Construction date with its Bid Proposal. The desired completion date is November 15, 2024. The Contractor will be allowed thirty (30) calendar days for Project No. C-59(891). The required completion date will be the earlier of the date indicated in the bid proposal or the actual start date plus the allotted calendar days for the project. Additional days due to weather may be granted at the discretion of the Engineer. The Madison County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities in bids received. Award of the Contract will be in accordance with the County Purchasing Act's competitive bidding considerations as set forth in Neb. Rev. Stat. 23-3110 to 23-3114.
