The intent of this document is to provide information regarding the scope of the project for the selected Contractor and various sub-trades for the interior renovations to Existing woodshop, IT and Inclusive Washroom located at Lake Superior High School 19 Hudson St, Terrance Bay, Ontario. Anticipated Execution of Agreement - September 18, 2024 Anticipated Completion Date - Work to start upon award. Work can be completed while school is operating - Phase 1 must be completed by December 12, 2024 SCOPE OF WORK . 1 The following is an outline of the scope of work on this project. Refer to drawings for further details. .1 Phase 1 work - demolition and renovation of the existing Wood Shop, Assembly Area and Design Technology Room including all necessary structural, mechanical, and electrical work. 2 Phase 2 work - demolition and renovation of the existing Girls Washroom and Office Space to accommodate a new IT Office and Gender Neutral Washrooms including mechanical and electrical work. 3 Examine the site of the project. Investigate the complete extent of work which is indicated in the contract documents. No allowance will be made for any error or negligence to fully understand the work and conditions. The contractor is to notify the Consultant immediately should discrepancies be encountered. 4 Examine the work of other sections before commencing work of any section. Commencement of new work shall imply acceptance of work by other sections upon which the new work depends. .5 Verify dimensions of work prepared by other sections before fabrication of new work.
