The work consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as described in detail in the Bidding and Contract Documents, Plans and Specifications to construct the project. Major work components include Installation of street sweeping restriction signage throughout the City. Signage will be installed on existing streetlights, existing signpost, or on new Unistrut signposts which will be installed in either concrete or dirt. The Contractor shall complete all work within 50 working days of the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Each bid must be accompanied by cash or a certified check or a cashier's check or bidder's bond made payable to the City of West Covina for an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the total contract price. In accordance with provisions of Section 3300 of the California Public Contract Code, City of West Covina has determined that the contractor shall possess an A or C-45 valid California Contractor's License. Failure to possess such license may render the bid as non-responsive and bar the award of the contract to that non-responsive Bidder.
