This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Wakefield, New Hampshire. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.

1. Yearly Spring or Fall clean-up for all cemeteries (40 - see attached list) to include removal of leaves and debris, branches, seedlings, and raking. 2. Regular maintenance cemeteries (12 - see attached list) require weekly attention. 3. Mowing shall be done on a schedule to assure a neat and attractive appearance at all times. 4. Trimming around headstones and footstones shall be done at the time of each mowing. 5. All clippings, old flowers, and trash shall be removed from the sites. (See note on Lovell Lake Cemetery on attached list.) 6. Seeding and fertilizing of new graves and other bare spots shall be done as needed. 7. New graves will be seeded within one week of burial. 8. Sunken graves will be filled in and reseeded. 9. This will be a 3 year contract, 2025, 2026, and 2027. 10. The contractor shall supply cost for 2028 and 2029 as well, as the Cemetery Trustees reserve the right to extend the contract for a 4th and 5th year without re-bidding. 11. Additional work of opening graves, repairing stones, tree work, etc., not of the regular maintenance nature, shall be proposed by the contractor and approved as a separate contract by the cemetery trustees. 12. Any increase or decrease in the scope of work beyond these specifications will require an agreed adjustment in the contract price. 13. A regular monthly report on work accomplished will be submitted. 14. Any deficiencies in the contractors work shall be noticed in writing by the Cemetery Trustees to the contractor. If a mutually accepted solution is not affected in 14 days, the contract is canceled, and only apportioned monies for work performed will be paid. Question Deadline 09/11/2024 16. Due to the importance of the responsibilities in maintaining the cemeteries, bidders should include a brief summary of their equipment, capabilities, and experience. 17. All bidders should include proof of current liability and worker's compensation insurance. 18. A map and the location of Cemeteries will be available upon request. 21. The Cemetery trustees reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
