The purpose of this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is for repairs to three of the four cooling towers at Building 2025 on Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB), CO. This Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is being solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors. The size standard is $19M. Please see the attached documents for all information regarding this solicitation. Project is to make repairs to three cooling towers at Building 2025 at Peterson SFB. Conduct all work in accordance with this PWS, all local, federal and USAF applicable codes. The Contractor shall follow all Green Procurement mandates and submittal requirements Scope is to make repairs to Bldg 2025 cooling towers addressing leaks and operation of tower. Contractor shall prep surface with combination of cleaning, descaling and hand grinding basin to create a 3 mil profile. Basin areas under piping with limiting clearances to grind shall be surface treated with Rydlyme or equivalent biodegradable descaler to get down to bare metal. 1.4.2. Contractor shall replace inlet louvers with original or equivalent to original manufacturers materials on all three cooling towers.
