This procurement is restricted to the NAVFAC Washington LMACC contractors. Project Title: Booth, Gates, and Secure Parking, United States Naval Observatory (USNO), Washington DC. Description of the Work: This will be a Design-Bid-Build (DBB) project. The work consists of the following: The Booths, Gates, and Secure Parking project objectives require replacement and relocation of several deficient booths with new custom-built or prefabricated structures. The entry control facilities (ECF) also require replacement due to outdated structures that must be brought up to current criteria and improved operational standards. The ECFs also require updated K-9 screening areas while optimizing layouts for pedestrian and vehicular traffic. Replacement of motorized gates and vehicle barriers are also required to meet current criteria for improved system performance. Phased construction is necessary to maintain daily operations within the campus at the USNO with performance of work allowed during specified timeframes Monday - Friday. Government escort is also necessary throughout the duration of construction for each facility. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
