Shawnee County is soliciting bids for up to 12,000 tons of sand per the following minimum requirements. Sand shall be suitable for use on County road systems for snow and ice control. This material will be picked up, as needed, by Shawnee County. All bidders shall state in this proposal the F.O.B. point from which material will be available. If there will be more than one F.O.B. point, you must state each location by street address which will apply to this proposal. Shawnee County reserves the right to factor in the material location and resulting costs for pick-up and transportation into its determination of the lowest and best bid. Prices quoted shall be F.O.B. location of material availability for pick-up. This material will be picked up, as needed, by Shawnee County. Shawnee County reserves the right to accept bids from more than one Bidder/Supplier and procure material from the Bidder/Supplier that the County determines will best meet its needs, including material price, availability of material, and quality of material.
