Cow Bridge Culvert Restoration Project, Main Street in Hatfield, MA. Scope of services will be for furnishing, installing, grouting and providing all labor, material and equipment necessary to rehabilitate existing culvert pipe by slip lining with Large Diameter High Density Profile Wall Polyethylene (HDPE) pipe. The bid shall be awarded to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder who possesses the skill, ability and integrity necessary for the faithful performance of the work and has met the other statutory requirements contained in M.G.L. c. 30, @39M; who shall certify that they are able to furnish labor that can work in harmony with all other elements of labor employed or to be employed in the work, and who is in fact able to furnish such labor. The Massachusetts prevailing wage laws require that employees on public works projects, except those who perform strictly supervisory functions, be paid a minimum hourly rate set by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
