Renovation of a water / sewer project in Springfield, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Removing existing soils adjacent to building foundation and providing foundation recovery system in order to lift and stabilize existing building foundation. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond with an adequate surety, naming the City Utilities of Springfield, Missouri, as obligee, in a penal sum equal to five percent of the maximum bid price excluding options, or in lieu thereof, a certified check drawn on a Federally insured banking institution, payable to City Utilities in the same amount as the penalty of the Bond. Question Deadline 09/13/2024 All requests for interpretations must be received by the Purchasing Department no later than the five (5) calendar days prior to the proposal opening date provided in RFP Section I-F (Proposal Opening). The affected area of the existing warehouse building is located within the south and southeast portions of the existing building. Floor slab and foundation loadings are anticipated to be light to moderate. A grass-covered fill/natural soil slope consisting of medium stiff to very stiff material slopes towards the lake and is steepest at the southeast building corner experiencing the settlement.
