The Village of Waverly (OWNER) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: 2nd Street and Pride Drive Paving Rehabilitation Question Deadline 09/06/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. All requests for interpretation must be received at least five days prior to the day set for receiving Bids The Project includes the following Work: Project consists of the milling, resurfacing, and general rehabilitation of two roadways within the Village of Waverly limits. An additional roadway to be rehabilitated has been included as a Bid Alternative. All pavement markings will be re-established upon completion of the pavement work. The Bid must be accompanied by Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the Bid or Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 10% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. CONTRACTOR shall pay wages to each laborer and mechanic at a rate not less than the minimum wages specified in the current wage determination as published by the State of Ohio Department of Commerce. The Village of Waverly reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 60days after the time set for receiving Bids. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. The Project is being funded in part by the Ohio Public Works Commission funding.
