The City of Homestead Development Services Department invites sealed proposals from firms or individuals experienced in building permitting, plan review and inspection services. The resulting agreement shall be to provide building permitting, plan review and inspection services to assure compliance with all applicable adopted codes, other city ordinances, and applicable county, state and federal laws. The City of Homestead is an Equal Opportunity Employer. MBE/WBE/DBE businesses are encouraged to participate. It is not required that the successful Proposer have previous experience with the City of Homestead. Question Submission Deadline: September 13, 2024, 5:00pm Bidders shall submit all inquiries regarding this bid via the City e-Procurement Portal. Committee of the Whole: Tentative: October 8, 2024 Council Meeting: Tentative: October 16, 2024 This contract shall be awarded for an initial term of one (1) year subsequent to approval by the City. The contract may be renewed for three (3) additional one- year periods provided both the successful proposer and the City agree and all terms and conditions remain the same. Any contract or amendment resulting from this solicitation shall be subject to fund availability and mutual written agreement between the City and the successful proposer. Extension of the contract for additional thirty (30) day periods for the convenience of either party shall be permissible at the mutual consent of both parties not to exceed six (6) months.
