WSA intends to engage an engineering consultant to determine, define, and prioritize future projects for three (3) WSA owned dam sites based on known issues, finances, active projects, risk, and need. A thorough understanding of all aspects regarding dam infrastructure, maintenance, and operation is required, including hydrology, geology, controls, mechanical, and civil works. The goal is to systematically rehabilitate and maintain these three (3) sites by planning for projects in accordance with CDA and other international best practices regarding dam infrastructure asset management and ownership. WSA is a Treasury Board Crown corporation within the meaning of The Crown Corporations Act, 1993 (Saskatchewan) that is governed by The Water Security Agency Act (Saskatchewan). WSA is responsible for water management in the Province of Saskatchewan, which includes managing the Province's water supply, protecting water quality, ensuring safe drinking water and the treatment of wastewater, reducing flood and drought damage, protecting aquatic habitat, and managing 73 dams and related supply channels The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
