The Project consists of constructing: Replacement Replacement of the the existing 20-inch meter transmission main with a new 20-inch water main from the Water Treatment Plant and ending at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and 11th Avenue. A portion of the project will be constructed by horizontal directional drilling across land owned by the Milwaukee County Parks Department. The local 6-inch distribution water main will be replaced with an 8-inch water main on Michigan Avenue from 3rd d Avenue to 11th Avenue. and hydrants will be replaced as (public and private sides) Valves and hy required replacement of lead service lines on Michigan Avenue will be completed. Restoration will include asphalt, sidewalk, curb and gutter, and turf replacement in trench locations.
