The Township of Upper Uwchlan is accepting bids for individual pieces of equipment (with operators) to perform Roadway Snow Removal services for the 2024-2025 snow removal season. Contractors may bid on all equipment needed or on individual pieces of equipment needed. All equipment bid must be in good working order and Pennsylvania road legal. The following equipment is sought on an hourly, as needed, basis. Qty 1 10-ton, 6-yd dump truck (or larger) equipped with snowplow and tailgate salt spreader Estimated hours of use - 100 Qty 3 3/4 ton or larger 4-wheel-drive pickup truck (or equivalent small 4x4 dump) equipped with an 8-1/2' or larger snowplow Estimated hours of use - 80 each A 10% Bid Bond or Certified Check must accompany all bids. Upper Uwchlan Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or a portion of any bids. Successful bidders shall post a 10% Performance bond upon award of contracts.
