The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, by and on the behalf of the University of Georgia (UGA)is seeking the services of highly qualified Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineering firms ("Consultant") to supplement its in-house design capabilities for the production of designs for renovation projects, adaptive re-use and minor cap projects involving professionally-registered engineers. To this end, Consultants will be chosen for a one-yester, with the possibility of two, two-year renewal terms, to be open- ended design providers. This Consultant will be required to provide design and consultation on an as-needed basis. More than one Engineering firm may be selected for a one-year term from the date of award, with the possibility two (2) two-year renewals for up to 4 years (total of 5 years), to be a provider under an IDIQ contract. Consultant(s) selected under this procurement will work through the University of Georgia Facilities Management Division (FMD) to provide traditional and specialized engineering services, including estimating, scheduling a construction administration. The Consultant(s) will be required to develop and deliver contract documents for one more of the following delivery methods: Task Order, CM at Risk, Design Bid Build, Letter Bid, and Direct Award Projects assigned to the successful Consultant(s) may be small renovation, adaptive reuse of existing facilities, minor capital projects from $10,000 - $5,000,000 in construction costs. The total under one consultant contract will exceed total Fees of $600,000 for any single IDIQ contract in any single year, for which the contract is in force. size of the projects will vary and UGA FMD in no way guarantees any percentage of this fee will be awarded for as ingle IDIQ contract. Project work will be located on University of Georgia's main campus in Athens, Georgia, THSC Campus in Athens, GA or satellite campuses at Griffin, Georgia, Tifton, Georgia, and other remote location within the state of Georgia. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all qualifications and/or proposals.
