The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish and install temporary traffic control services and remove and reinstall guardrail in support of a concurrent bulkhead rehabilitation project along a 500 linear foot section of the Saxis Road Causeway (VA RTE 695) in Accomack County. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: From Notice to Proceed through up to 60 working days (weather permitting). (nonrenewable) For the purpose of this Contract, a day is defined as a 24-hour period. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 5 business days prior to bid close date. Pre-bid meeting info : Due to the importance of all bidders having a clear understanding of the specifications/scope of work and requirements of this solicitation, participation at this prebid conference will be a prerequisite for submitting a bid.
