Ascension Parish Government/East Ascension Consolidated Gravity Drainage District #1 (Parish) hereby issues a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from Consulting Firms (Consultant) to provide professional engineering services. The Parish is soliciting Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for Professional Engineering Services. Responders must have experience in state and federal grant programs including Statewide Flood Control Grants, and other federal funding sources. Primary tasks consist of but are not limited to: Drainage design and analysis, grant support and other disciplines of service to the Drainage Department. Primary tasks consist of but are not limited to: 1. Perform Hydrologic and Hydraulic studies, Modeling of drainage bodies, and review proposed development model results for code compliance 2. Preliminary and Final plans as requested and in all disciplines of professional engineering 3. Drainage Impact Studies and analysis 4. Benefit Cost Analysis 5. Grant Support 6. Bidding assistance 7. Project Development 8. Construction Bid Document development 9. Project Supervision and Inspection (Resident inspections/Project management) 10. General engineering support during construction as requested 11. Quality reviews of plans developed in association with this contract (QA/QC) as required 12. Geographic Information System (GIS) services 13. Drainage structure analysis (Culvert/Bridge sizing) 14. Pumping station and Levee infrastructure support (Structural, Engine and drives, all components relative to pumping stations and levees, designs) 15. Geotechnical services 16. Land Surveying services (Licensed in the state of Louisiana) 17. Right of way acquisitions services 18. Jurisdictional permitting services (LA DNR and USACE) Question Deadline 09/10/2024 at 3:00 PM CT All questions regarding the RFQ shall be submitted to the Purchasing Department via email at purchasing@apgov.us Responses will be coordinated with the Project Coordinator and posted on the online no later than September 17, 2024. The Parish reserves the right to disqualify any bid, request for quotes, response to a request for qualifications, or request for proposals if it is determined that the submitting business entity is not in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State or is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana. Ascension Parish Government reserves the right to reject all proposals for just cause.
