Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Maple Ridge, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,054-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and sidewalk / parking lot.
City of Maple Ridge (the “City”) invites bids for the construction of one (1) washroom building, three (3) picnic shelters, paving of two (2) parking lots and associated landscaping at Maple Ridge Park located at 13180 232 Street, in Maple Ridge, BC. The work generally consists of: All site preparation for construction Site servicing including electrical, water, sanitary sewer and storm sewer connections Construction of one (1) fully serviced washroom building Construction of three (3) picnic shelters, refer to drawings for servicing requirements Improvements to two (2) parking lots including: Preparation of subbase and grading Asphalt paving, lining/marking and wheel stops Wood perimeter fencing Construction of bioswale with connection to storm sewer Construction of bioswale with connection to headwall discharging into adjacent watercourse New locking swing gate Garbage enclosure Relocation of two (2) pit toilet upper enclosures onto new holding tanks and decommissioning of existing holding tanks Supply and Installation of art components Washroom cladding as per artist’s layout pattern Six (6) sheet metal sculptures mounted to picnic shelter columns (install only) Pavement paint stencils Path reconfiguration and paving Rain garden at washroom building with storm connection into existing spray park bioswale Tree removals Protection of retained trees surrounding the site and the access route Tree and shrub planting per drawings Picnic table relocation on new concrete pads Demolition and disposal of existing washroom building Demolition and disposal of existing picnic shelters Reinstatement of all access routes including the establishment of any disturbed grass, or other damages caused by construction activities.
