As of September 25, 2024, project has been cancelled. All bids were rejected. The work includes, but is not limited to, the construction of a poured-in-place foundation for a new dry storage building at the Town of Ephratah Highway Garage.. The Project start date will be on or about October 1, 2024. The Project shall be substantially completed on or before November 1, 2024. The Project shall be completed on or before November 30, 2024. Bids will be received for a Single Prime Contract. Bids will be received on a lump sum basis. Bids should not include sales and compensating use taxes on materials incorporated into the work. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Drawings and Specifications may be examined at C.T. Only those Contract Documents obtained in this manner will enable a prospective bidder to be identified as an official plan holder of record. Contract Documents obtained from other sources may not be accurate or may not contain addenda that may have been issued. Costs for sets of printed documents shall be the responsibility of the Bidder. If requested, documents will be sent by UPS Ground delivery at the non-refundable cost of $10.00 per set for postage and handling. There will not be a Pre-bid Conference. The Town of Ephratah reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids received, or to reject any or all Bids without explanation.
