The scope of work involves the demolition of the commercial structure (former petroleum retail building), the work includes the following: mobilization, demobilization, and administration; hazardous materials abatement (removal and proper disposal of asbestos containing material, polychlorinated biphenyl material, universal and household waste); disconnection and abandonment of utilities; demolition and disposal of the Commercial building, including the floor slab and foundations*; C-Soil removal and disposal and placement of compacted MDOT Class II sand and 21AA crushed limestone. Building slab may remain based on owner preference. The site is located at 15350 Howard City Edmore Road, Howard City, Michigan, as shown on the Drawing (Appendix VII).
