Renovation of a medical facility in Mobile, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 910-square-foot medical facility.

The project generally consists of an approximately 910 SF renovation of the existing Optical Dispensary, Lab, and Exam Rooms. The renovation will consist of two exam rooms, an office, and pharmacy. The project will be wood stud interior framing with standard finish work and millwork. The building will be occupied during construction. The project is located at 990 Cody Road North, Mobile, AL 36608. A certified check or bid bond payable to Franklin Primary Health Center, Inc., in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Statutory Labor and Material Payment Bonds will be required at the signing of the Contract. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the Architect or copies thereof. No bids will be considered unless the bidder, whether resident or non-resident of Alabama, is properly qualified to submit a proposal for this construction. This shall include, among other qualifications, evidence of holding a current and appropriate license from the State of Alabama Licensing Board. Evidence of license must be shown before bidding or bid will not be received or considered by the Architect; the bidder shall show such evidence by clearly displaying their current license number on the outside of the sealed enveloped in which the proposal is delivered. This project is being bid, under the provisions of Alabama Act 2000-684, which require the Contractor, in part, to take advantage of the Owner's tax exempt status, obtain necessary certificates and other documentation required from the Alabama Department of Revenue, make payment for all materials, and to administer the sales and use tax savings portion of the project, as a part of their Bid. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days subsequent to the opening of the bids without the consent of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities in the bidding.
