The County of Simcoe is requesting Tenders from vendors pre-qualified under opportunity RFPQ # 2023-120 Tier 1 Roads Construction Contractors. This bid opportunity involves the reconstruction of County Road 4 from approximately 290 m south of 9th Line to approximately 700 m north of 10th Line in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury. The scope includes widening to a four-lane cross section, including a flush median, addition of auxiliary lanes, multi-use trail, and storm sewers. The intersection of County Road 4 and 9th Line will be upgraded to include traffic signals. To minimize road closure and to expedite project completion, the County has preordered and purchased the large concrete box culvert at the 10th Line intersection.
