GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Project will involve developing or updating Flood Safety Plans used by local levee maintaining agencies, creating additional field checklists and resources, developing or updating the Unified Command map and manuals, and providing additional Geographic Information System (GIS) field reporting resources for the Project. Additionally, the Project includes training sessions and tabletop exercises to test these newly developed or updated products. Finally, the Project consists of the acquisition of flood fight supplies. The key goal of the multi-jurisdictional Delta-wide Regional Flood Response Project is to enhance and promote such a sustainable, regional response structure and partnership within the Five-County Delta region based on the findings from the 2022 Delta-wide Exercise and recent 2022/2023 Winter Storms. The County of Yolo is requesting proposals from qualified Consultants to provide flood response services and grant reports for the Yolo County Round 3 Delta Flood Emergency Response Grant per scope of work, as outlined in this RFP. The County was awarded funding by the California Department of Water Resources from the Proposition 1, Water Quality, Supply, and Infrastructure Improvement Act of 2014 to assist the County in financing the Yolo County Delta-Wide Flood Emergency Response Project (Project) pursuant to Water Code section 79781(d). Contract duration: 3 years. The County reserves the unilateral right to amend this RFP in writing at any time. The County also reserves the right to cancel or reissue the RFP at its sole discretion. If an amendment is issued it shall be provided to all proposers through online.. Proposers shall respond to the final written RFP and any exhibits, attachments, and amendments. The County reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject any and all proposals or to cancel this RFP in its entirety.
